Soap, Towels, and Fabric

Soap and towels are useful items in many settings. New fabric is used to sew clothing, in sewing and pattern-making classes, for job creation and to make items for home use.
 
Soap specifications: New bars of bath or laundry soap: All sizes and brands of bar soap are welcome. Please leave in wrapper. 880 lbs of soap shipped last year to Ukraine alone!
 
Towel specifications: NEW bath and hand towels: Good quality, dark or bright colours, medium weight preferred. Hand towels should be approximately 38 cm x 64 cm/ 15 in x 25 in. Washcloths are not needed.
 
Fabric specifications: Suggested fabrics: Washable twill, cotton, cotton blends, polyester and corduroy. Fabric must be two yards or more in length. Print, plaid or solid are welcome.
 
Bring soap, fabric, or towels to an MCC drop-off location. In St. Catharines this includes the MCC Thrift (Christian Benefit) Shop at 254 Grantham Ave, St. Catharines. Phone: 905-682-8944. Specify that this is for the “Soap, Towels, and Fabric Kits” for MCC Ontario.
