Carla Elenore Isaak (Reimer) - 1939-2024
After a short battle with cancer, Carla Isaak (Reimer) joined her husband Peter Isaak (July 21, 2003), on August 15, 2024. Born in St. Catharines on December 12, 1939, she was the oldest daughter to Elizabeth and Abram Reimer (Rempel).
Carla will be missed at the monthly Sisters Day get together, by Anita, Linda and Brenda.
Carla leaves behind her children, Peter (Sandra), Tim (Tammy), and Nancy (Brian). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Darren, Noah, and Grace, as well as her great grandchildren, Mason and David.
Carla was an entrepreneur, running Peninsula Glass with her husband for over thirty years. She was active in her church, holding a position on the board of directors, as well as being a faithful member of the choir at Grace Mennonite Church. She also was involved with Silver Lake Mennonite Camp, being on the board of directors, head cook, and even camp director of the girls camp.
A sincere thank you to the Niagara Palliative Care Outreach Team, Nurses from St Elizabeth, and Hospice Niagara for your love and care for our mom throughout this journey.
Visitation will be held at Tallman Funeral Homes Vineland Chapel (3277 King St., Vineland) on Monday August 19th from 2-4 and 6-8. There will be a graveside funeral for family at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Tuesday August 20th, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Mennonite Central Committee, or Silver Lake Mennonite Camp would be appreciated.

Timothy John Janzen Obituary
Our hearts break as we announce the passing of our precious brother and son, Timothy John on Friday May 24th, 2024, just weeks shy of his 64th birthday.
We will miss this sweet man, as he truly enriched our lives. Quick with a hug or a kiss, we will miss him spreading his love to anyone he met. Tim was predeceased by his beloved father, "Dad George". Tim is survived by his mother, "Mama Hertha", brothers Gary and "Sammy"(Randy Janzen), sister "Belyn" (Debbie Janzen). Tim is also survived by his beloved sisters in law, Bev (Gary) and Carolyn (Randy), as well as his nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed in the group home he lived in, by the staff and residents of Community Living Welland.
Donations in Tim's honor can be made to Welland /Pelham Community Living.

Katherine Helen Hildebrand
1931 - 2024
Hildebrand, Katherine - After a long and full life, Katherine passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Saviour on May 25, 2024 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. She was 92.
Katherine was born on October 9th, 1931 in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. When she was 11, her family moved to Toronto. After high school Katherine worked for several years as an administrative assistant and a legal secretary. Katherine and her husband Jacob met in Toronto in 1953. They were married on September 3, 1955 and began their life together in St. Catharines where they raised their three children.
Katherine was a skilled and active volunteer at Grace Mennonite Church (St. Catharines) and within the broader Mennonite community. Katherine was an excellent seamstress, avid gardener, amazing organizer, wonderful cook, and with Jacob, an enthusiastic world traveller. Most of all she was a joyful, loving and compassionate support to family and friends near and far.
Katherine was the beloved wife of Jacob Hildebrand for 68 years and loving mother of Tom Hildebrand (Nancy), Carol Dyck (Jack) and Ken Hildebrand. She was the adoring Oma of Jessica Peters (Cyprian), Jake Hildebrand (Stevey), Natalia Doerksen (Ryan), Jamie Hildebrand (Aley), Joshua Dyck, Kate Robinson and Graham Hildebrand. She was thrilled to be a great Oma to Evan, Sydney, Noa and Theodore.

A celebration of the life of Theophile Ilunga - April 13, 2024
Debbie Emily Nickerson
It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Deborah Emily Nickerson (nee Lutz) on January 1st, 2024. "We were blessed to celebrate her 76th birthday, the precious day before. Surrounded by loved ones, Debbie very peacefully left to go on her "next adventure". Cherished wife of 56 years, she is survived by her adoring husband Harry. Family meant everything to Debbie and she was a very proud Mom to Pamela & Jessica, and a doting & loving Grandma to Norieah. She leaves to mourn her dear brother Charles and Pam Lutz, and the "Sarnia clan". Debbie is also survived & loved by so many wonderful family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends."
