For third consecutive year, MCC Canada named top 10 international impact and top 100 rated charity!
https://mcccanada.ca/.../mcc-canada-named-top-10-charity... My husband and I have the privilege of volunteering for the Mennonite Central Committee by working at the MCC Thrift Store on Grantham. And of supporting financially some projects that MCC partners with. My favourite is https://mcc.org/.../mcc-democratic-peoples-republic-korea AND I'm thrilled that World Vision is in the top 10 too. WV started in Korea and one of their projects was rescuing orphaned children - especially "mixed race" children. Here is Stephane's story. I heard her story on the radio in about 2005. http://www.overseasoutreach.com/2018/09/388/ At least it is at the MCC Thrift Store (Christian Benefit Shop.) Their holiday decor is looking amazing this year! If you’re looking to expand your Christmas decorations or find a novel seasonal gift, consider shopping at MCC Thrift instead of going out and buying something new. You’ll be helping to care for our environment and you’ll find some cheerful deals!
MCC Thrift is a non-profit thrift shop. All proceeds support Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in local and global relief, development, and peace projects. Proceeds from MCC Thrift fund programs here in Ontario, Canada and globally. https://mccthriftontario.com/ - Where Every Purchase Is A Gift To The World! CHICKENS! An eggs-cellent gift, chickens provide a ready source of eggs and meat and can boost earnings for families like Josephine Mwikali Mutinda's in Kenya. $13 provides a brood of chickens.
This year, when you purchase a brood of chicks, a group of generous MCC donors will match your donation up to a total of $33,000. That means more people in need around the world will be able to earn a living because of your gift. That's just good egg-onomics! https://donate.mcccanada.ca/cause/chickens MCC - Relief, development, and peace in the name of Christ! |
