The Adult Day Program in St. Catharines, located at 350 Ontario St., is hosting an open house on Monday June 17th from 10am – Noon. The Adult Day Program is designed to help older adults 60+ stay physically active, cognitively stimulated, and socially connected. We provide a supportive environment where seniors experiencing physical and cognitive challenges related to aging can socialize and engage in meaningful programming. An added bonus, caregivers of clients can benefit from valuable respite and peace of mind while their loved ones are with us. You’re in luck! There is a Heritage Methodist Church Service on June 2 at 2 pm - Marlatts Rd, Thorold, ON. Why would Mennonites care? Old Order Mennonites crafted the 26 windows needed to restore Beaverdams Church to its 19th century roots! Rumor has it that his year’s service will feature a 19th-century ‘circuit rider,’ portrayed by guest speaker Rev. David Pritchard – former pastor at Grace United Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Annie’s sister, Esther Giesbrecht, is Music Director there. It’s a small world.

My goal in February is to update the nursery and put together some “fidget boxes.” Re the Nursery… Do you have any toys or books in there that you are attached to? Let me know. I hope to replace much of our current stock with more modern toys and books. I may be asking for donations. Also, do you have a computer you know longer use that is internet friendly and uses CDs? Veggie Tales can be very entertaining. (At least it is for me.)
