Five days a week, the Ozanam Centre Soup Kitchen is open from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm serving lunch to those in need. Their usual charge of just a Loony is not being charged during the current pandemic when they cannot have clients in the building. They hand out bagged lunches to all in need.
On an average day, the Ozanam feeds between 60 and 90 people! They have no government funding of any type whatever, and are totally dependent on donations from individuals and organizations such as churches. The Ozanam is a fully registered charity, so all donors get a charitable tax receipt.
Here are items The O always needs!
The Ozanam Centre Soup Kitchen is located at 235 Church St, St Catharines, L2R 3E8.
Hours of service are 11:00 am to 12:30 pm - Monday to Friday
