Do you love piano music? Do you have access to the internet? I heartily recommend https://www.solopianoradio.com/ Approximately half of the songs are hymns, with the rest being gentle listening. I (Jan) have this playing in the background at our home most of our waking hours. Most of the pianists are Christian and have amazing stories to tell.
God is at work in the world and He wants you to join him. – Pastor Rick Warren
The Villages at Port Colborne has the sweetest Valentine cards you’ve ever seen. “Made by artisans who have escaped sex trafficking in the Philippines and young adults orphaned by disease in Rwanda. These cards are all signed on the back by the artisan who made them; connecting their story with yours.”

Greetings! Ontario is back to Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen, but your People Care Team is Always There To Care. Over the next few weeks your community chaplain and People Care Team friend Jan will be giving many folks in the GMC Directory a phone call. Just to say “Hi!” Know that you are always welcome to contact Pastor Doug at 905-328-3660 or email@example.com or Jan at firstname.lastname@example.org or 289-990-4839. (Please leave a message if you get our machine. Thank you.)
There are two plans available online that I appreciate. You can listen online or download to your MP3 players.
1. The Bible in a Year. Father Mike Schmitz. Catholic. Reads Scripture and reflects on it. 20 minutes.
2. The Bible Recap. Tara-Leigh Cobble. Protestant. Summarizes and reflects. 10 minutes

By early January, Laur and I should be moved into our new-to-us home. Covid permitting, I would love to visit folks who welcome some company. Covid not-permitting – I’d love to connect with you by phone. I’m easy to reach. See me at church, phone me at 289-990-4839, or email me at email@example.com
This past week I’ve been trying to find a home for our living room furniture that won’t fit through the door of our wee house. The MCC Thrift Store on Grantham no longer takes cloth living room furniture, but these places do:
ReStore - 150 Bunting Rd - (905) 685-7365
Mission Thrift Store - 184 Scott St - (905) 704-0422
Niagara Furniture Bank - 211 Church St - (905) 682-8371

Do you know of a person who is unable to go out and get groceries? Maybe it’s you. This is what I’ve found out. Sobey’s has partnered with Grocery Grabbers – a husband and wife team – Jody and Mirella. They have been doing this for 20 years!
All orders are over the phone. After 21 years of doing this, they know the questions to ask so you can get what you order. They have a base rate free of $20.00 – this covers their shopping and delivery time, plus gas and vehicle maintenance.
Their number is 905-358-1043; facebook is https://www.facebook.com/blabitgrabit ; and website is http://grocerygrabber.ca/ You can pay with CASH or DEBIT, as well as e-transfer and credit card (extra fee).
The Niagara Movement for Justice and Peace in Palestine Israel is selling Christmas cards to raise some funds for children’s programs in Palestine. The drawings were done by children in Bethlehem. Cost is $15 (no HST.) There are 12 cards – three cards of each of the four designs. To order phone 905-937-1554 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: Laur and I (Jan Steven) are moving December 2. During November and December I will need to decrease my People Care visits, but by January 1st I should be ready to go! 😊 Our new address is 63 Beamer St, St. Catharines, L2M 2L6. Our phone # stays the same – 289-990-4839.
Do you have November birthday? Come see me after church for your Hen and Chicks Plant!
